Kmix/Volume Control Problem

Hi, im running gentoo with a sound blaster live card.

Today I noticed a problem that just started happening, the sound contorl was working fine for the last two weeks.

In Kmix I can't control my sound volume through the master switch. The only thing that works is 3d under pcm. Similarily in xmms increasing and decreasing the volume does nothing. The only thing that works is Kmix 3d. This just started happening today, any ideas on how to remedy it?? I must have changed a setting somehwere, but I cant find it anywhere!

Thanks

Me too..

I've exactly the same problem, in mandrake 10 official...

I have to raise volume with 3D control because the master doesn't work.. But I don't know why. Nothing happened apparently.
