4. You still need to install a new kernel so issue "urpmq -y kernel" (without quotes) to see what kernels are available. Choose one.

Well I managed to upgrade both my vmware machine in the office using the boot disc and my computer at home using an iso image that I got "somewhere"......The new Os lloks and feels nice. I would recommend though to go for the boot disc option since it seems htat that 4.4 gigs iso image is missing some packages... other than that is very good and stable....
Limited Edition is waaayyy faster than 10.1.
I d/lded the 6 CDs and installed (had a prblem with Mozilla Firefox : it would ny
load at install, so I just skipped the internet programes on re-install and added it next.
It is also much faster now to resolve IPs !!
Everything works except I will have to set the French locale in KDE, but that's not much.
I had a little bit of an issue with lm_sensors, but I managed to solve it. apcupsd worked right of the bat and samba too.
all my settings were recognized and no issues so far. It feel quicker. It is interesting that I have not seen a lot of threads related to this upgrade. Either people are nto having issues or they still do not have it.

A report from the front line will posted tonight. The DVD iso is being downloaed as I type this message. MDK LE 2005 will be loaed into a HP laptop zd7260.
