I am running mandrake 10.1. I am really new to linux but I am trying. My problem is that I installed and my mouse worked perfectly, now that Im booted up it no longer works, somehow i got the keyboard nav to the mouse properties an dgot the mouse to work, PS/2 was very laggy and USB was perfect, now I have rebooted the machine it no longer works and I cant keyboard nav. Also I have used the wizard from mandrakeusers.com forums to setup the samba share, I also have webmin installed and have setup 2 shares for my 2 secondary hard drives that are formatted in FAT32 so I can access them from my windows machine. When I try to connect to the shares it asks for my login info, I used the user I created like the steps provided on mandrakeusers.com said as well as setting up the users on the share with webmin, When I try to login using the user i created for samba, root, or my user account it keeps coming back as invalid. Any help on these issues is greatly appreciated, I have another thread
here but cant seem to get the help I am looking for so I figured Id try the distributuion specific forum. And does anyone know any good forums where Mandrake is the primary topic?
