Mandrake 10 and mouse problems

Hey everyone, I am still new to linux, I have installed Mandrake 10.1 and during the install my mouse worked just fine, but now when the system boots up my mouse doesnt work, PS/2 or USB. I can login with my keyboard but my mouse still doesnt work, any thing that can help me out would be appreciated. Also if you can help me, you will need to give specific instructions because i know nothing about linux Thanks

1) Try Slackware (It'll make you more than just newbie almost in 1 week
2) u may try this in console (really useless, i think ):
apropos mouse
This cmd dispalys all (I hope) cmds with such word (i.e. mouse)
Try out: All necessary info for newbies. Visit this site at least to have a look at an AMAZING Linux JPG! You won't waste time!!!
PS: That's not my site.
