I lost my install cd's for mandriva 2006 free edition and I was wondering if since I did my first install from the local hd, if there was a way to reverse that process and make myself some new install cd's so I don't have to re-download? The install media is obviously somewhere on my local hd because not only did the entire installation take place without cd's, but every time I ask for a new package it installs everything without asking me for a cd. In case anyone is wondering why I don't just download another copy it's because I do have broadband, but it's not so broad... 50K per second downloads is about my max. Thanks!

You can make a livecd for yourself. See mklivecd. Or you can just download One it's only 1 CD with bugfixed packages and save your home dir to a USB drive.
