Kernel compile on Mandriva. lilo.conf only shows Windows listing for boot?

Ive got my kernel fully compiled, but when I open up lilo.conf to add it to the boot options, there are only options for Windows, and no Linux options. Is lilo keeping the directories different or something, because I cant find where my new initrd and kernel image should be pointing unless I missed something

woah that is definately weird. Just to clarify, are you looking at /etc/lilo.conf or one at another location?

I'll post my /etc/lilo.conf as a guide for you.(don't forget to re-run the command "lilo" after editing the file)

# LILO configuration file
# generated by 'liloconfig'
#
# Start LILO global section
boot = /dev/hda
message = /boot/boot_message.txt
prompt
timeout = 60
# Override dangerous defaults that rewrite the partition table:
change-rules
reset

Yep, /etc/lilo.conf, and it only has Windoze in it. Yet when I boot, I have options for Linux, failsafe etc...
