Changing routers settings

Have finally managed to get online using a Netgear Wireless ADSL2+ "DG834G" Modem/Router. Think Mandriva Spring is brilliant but before i can start surfing and learning all i can about Mandriva i would like to change the default username and password into something a little more secure. Also how do i go about setting the routers security to "WAP"? Any kind souls out there willing to help? Thanks folks

Hope you got the same deal as me and the WG111v2 usb adaptor included.

Try connecting with the included ethernet cable, and read the router itself for the current account info and i.p. to put into your browser to get to the login page.

This is the addy I used to use to access the modem from my computer,

Be careful what you change, won't ya!

Changing the password brings tighter security, you probably knew that, right?

And yes, the ethernet cable will give you faster speeds out of the box, than the usb cable.

Cheers, Glenn
