artsd as root

I am running Mandriva LE 2005, and was wondering, since the startup of the OS is configured to go straight into KDE as a "normal" user, it also does the following command:
/usr/bin/artsd -F 10 -S 4096 -s 60 -m artsmessage -c drkonqi -l 3 -f that user. But, usually after a few minutes, the sound dies, and Amarok or Totem freeze when trying to play an mp3. I tried killing the process and re-starting it, but everytime I do that as user, the same problem occurs. Now, when I tried running this command as root, it works fine. Therefore, does anyone know how to modify the init(where?) to run this command at boot as a root?

Copy and paste the command in the bottom of /etc/rc.d/rc.local.

Rc.local runs after all the other init scripts and executes with root privileges. Should do the job.
