apt-get for Mandrake 10.0 Official

I want to give apt-get a try. I am using Mandrake 10.0 official. Is there a good place to get an rpm with mdk in the extension?

There is an apt-get package for Mandrake. It is called apt (I thought it was apt4rpm, but a quick urpmf told me differently)

Provided you have set up your urpmi sources with easyurpmi: http://easyurpmi.zarb.org

urpmi apt

You might be presented with a list, you'll probably have to type in the full filename from that list to get it to install correctly.

Thanks. I never used urpmi before. I like it, though it is still new and I need to get used to it a little more. I searched from konsole for urpmi apt and I had a few show up but not anything for apt-get. I also typed in apt4rpm and it said there was no package. I have a good starting point though. If there is an ftp site that has this package I can now look for it and add it to the software manager. Thanks again.

Also. Apt4rpm is, obviously, lol, for rpm packages. I am not familiar with apt-get at all. Is the original one for source, etc? Because I really don't need apt4rpm when I am using urpmi.
