To the mods....

As You can see I have not logged into these forums in many years... I am also very embarrassed by who I was on these forums years ago... I was whiny, demanding, had a massive ego and an overall jerk... Please do the whole world a favor and hide/delete all traces of me from this website. Thanks. I don't even use this user name anymore... I made it up back in 2002... Yeah I won't even be checking on this topic here for anything longer then the next hour or two... I hope you even go the extra mile and ban this account so that if for some strange reason I decide to come back here years from now I could start fresh with a new name...

I'm not a mod, but no-one knows who you were anyway. If the mods were to delete all traces of you (which happens very rarely indeed on internet forums), some of the questions that have been answered may appear nonsensical without your input.

So just move on. You're a new you now anyway. If you would like to come back here, and you're more than welcome, then just come back as the new you with a new username.

I guess I could do that. I also went back and reread my old posts and I wasn't a complete jerk like my memory led me to think I was... (human memory is actually very inaccurate) I was if I had to sum it up briefly, "very impatient and constantly doing things just for the sake of doing them"

There are worse character traits to have. Anyway, we all change over life - I'm not the guy I was a few years ago either (for the better, hopefully!).

Moving this thread to the Suggestions and Feedback forum.

Oddly enough I've posted this twice today for different reasons, having not referred to it in years, how to delete my LQ account.

Note that, that link does not provide an answer, and as someone pointed out, the site does not delete accounts where there are posts, for the same reasons cited.

You pre-date me and obviously I did not start out in my current capacity, I'm sure I was argumentative, or immature, or whatever once or twice in my past. I agree with others, "don't worry about it", "no one's noticing or lamenting". And I'll also add, "if you haven't been on this site in so very long, why should it matter?"

You wouldn't be the first, or the last...

(Few will admit it however. Who's perfect though...?)

We have lots of precious, self important types here, who probably earn/earned far more than I did/could ever hope to, went to a better university/school/nursery than I did and now "sysadmin" (oodles of boxes - simultaneously of course) for a living... the "whiny [egotistical] jerks" may help to keep the former in check... or at least provide them with some sport to pass the time between lunch breaks.

If it makes you few better, I've been a regular for a long time, and this is the first time I've seen any of your posts.

jeremy can remove but I'd suggest you just move forward.

A guy I used to work with named Nacho always use to say "go ahead, never go back, (only when you fight with your girlfriend)"

This should be the last post from this account... Being as how it seems to be okay with both members with "seniority" and with at least one mod... I will do whatever is in my power to "park" this account let it once again collect some dust and I will be returning one day in the future with a new name.
