time error?

i was just playing around with my CP and found the time zone option yeh well i tried using the timezone which i should be using (EAST Australian time) but the boards said that the time was 8:11 when it really is 7:11 so i ended up setting my timezone to korea bla bla bla and now the time is correct, does anyone know why this happens ?

Others have asked this question as well. It has to do with the fact that the machine is using daylight savings time and the rest of the world doesn't.
