Time out error

Hi,

all of my users are complaining why is it hard to download mails. They received the error: A timeout occur while communicating w/ the server (account: 'name',POP3 server : '192.x.x.x' error number 0x800ccc19). From that workstation (win98) I ping the linux box 100% its ok, but when I ping the workstarion from linuxbox turn out to 75% lost and try to ping the rest of the IP's in the LAN but all have the same packets receive 75% lost.

What happend to my server just turn this morning low connection from server to workstation? How can I go about the timeout error it keeps on coming back and we can't download mails. Your help will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance
