My reputation was 55 and now it is 56 ! One post has been clicked "helpful" .
so shouldn't the reputation be now 60 ? As per the following rule:

At the risk of increasing the post count on this thread and bugging Jeremy... my two cents worth are... I will check all this out in a positively Slack way... I,ll check it out next year when its up and running as Jeremy wants... LOL
As a net beneficiary of the new system, I shouldn't complain, but I would have thought the best approach could have been derived from existing site data in this way: the ratio between a member's total number of postings and the number of those for which he has been thanked (or found "helpful") calculated and expressed as a simple percentage?
