You can no longer register two letter domains.. I think it's two letter and one letter.. the one's who have them now get to keep them as they registered them before this change took place..
It was a joke from around 1-2 years ago. There was a discussion about having a Windows site, so Jeremy registered the name and pointed it back at LQ. You had to have been there

He's actually had it since the beginning.. well a few months after LQ.org got kicked off.. has many other domains that point back to LQ as well..

- it was a late at night. jeremy was hungry, and thought about the chicken leftovers in his fridge. Then the thought occured to him: why not start a forum where linux users could come for help? The story as related above is entirely fictional...
