Thus far I feel no animosity towards anyone in this thread. It is my desire to keep it that way. I hope this is agreeable with you...
Absolutely! It wasn't meant that way, I was only stating how it appeared from an outside viewers perspective. But you know what they say about opinions...
Is this contest win valid anywhere, or only US, or Europe, or how?
and on a side note, while we're at forums counting, if this forum adds to the count, imo it should be handled like the general forum, w/o a count
It doesn't matter whether you live in US or not - we will deliver the issues anyway
Is there a way to get a trial issue, either electronic or print, especially if it doesn't require giving away credit card information and an automatic subscription if I don't cancel it?
I don't know how the magazine does it, but with many trial offers, you have to "opt-out" from automatically paying for a subscription instead of opting-in to keep it going.
I feel that if a product or service is all that great, I will make the call to keep it going. That's why I tell telemarketers that I will only try their product or service if they can send it to me without my having to cancel anything if I don't like it, and if I like it, that I would have to make a call to keep it going. They never are able to do that, and I tell them that this is how I do things--if they can't meet my requirements, I don't want to deal with them. I'm the customer, and when I spend my money, I make the rules. End of call.
I'll be contacting each winning member individually. Thanks again to Linux+ for sponsoring this content.
