Post RHCSA/RHCE aspirant preparing for certifications, looking for support...

Hello All:

I've been foolish enough to consider becoming certified for RHEL; using the latest Jang RHEL 7 text as one of my resources. I would appreciate any feedback from fellow aspirants...

I'm attempting to move back to MA from RI, and I don't even have internet access where I'm living; makes it difficult to work without connection to the internet. I can create my own network at home, but I'll have to see if any of the old computers I've stashed away are 64-bit.

I don't expect to be an expert after studying/passing for RHCSA/RHCE, but I'd like to think it would get my foot in the door somewhere, and show some initiative; apparently only 50% pass the exams on the first attempt. I'm also considering the Network+ certification, as networks are everywhere, and I'm curious how all that craziness actually works.

I look forward to learning more. Take care.

Jason

Hi Jason, welcome to the forum. I've never studied for or taken the exam for RHCSA/RHCE so I can't tell you anything about it but you have my prayers and best wishes in passing it and getting a job, along with getting the needed equipment and internet connection.

Regards...
