Welcome.
Read plenty, google all your issues. Once you get the basics on some distro, build your own system

You learn loads that way.

Try things out. Work your way through the menu and find out what everything does. Then get more adventurous and try the command line. Just remember the golden rule: never change a configuration file without making a backup!

Hello and welcome to the forum, feel free to ask any questions you might need.

Also, just as a suggestion, you might want to change your username using the instructions at the top of the page here, lest your email inbox ends up with a boatload of SPAM in the very near future. You can find the "Contact Us" form here.

Regards...

Hi 'OP', and Welcome! (a web-search of "<username>" does find AT<email>, so maybe use an alias)

Maybe tell us a TINY bit more about your Linux-related: experience/goals/interests/PC/distro/etc

Try the LQsearch for Keyword: certification
(pull-down: Search Titles only [vs default of: Search Entire Posts], and, at bottom, click: "Show Results as" Threads [vs default of: Posts], for 'better-to-read-thru' results )

Anyway, best wishes! Enjoy! p.s. my VirtualBox thought here
