Greetings and hello from a linux user in Florida. I on a win-dose system of one sort or another (3.1, 95, 98, XP, XPpro) for the past ten years, and I was blown away when I saw the speed and reliability of linux. I made the switch to linux fedora core 1 about a year ago. (I was impressed when I saw it running on a friends system.) I have nothing but good things to say about linux, but I do have one question that I would like some feedback on. Which of the linux distros is the best and why. Thank you for this information in advance.

I'd recommend you to browse the Linux-Distributions forum. Questions 'which distro is best' or 'which one to choose' are posted there and you can find probably all reasons for and against most popular distros.
