Post SMC2336W-AG linux fedora core 4 aircrack also WPC11 ver 3

Hi, am completely new to Linux, but have been working as a Windows network adminstrator for some years.

Travelling round the US at the moment, and decided to install Linux, primarily as a tool to crack WEP and steal bandwidth from kind unsuspecting riff-raff on my journeys.

After successfully installing and configuring gentoo (prob not the best for beginners!), I opted for the much easier and intuitive Fedora core 4.

I tried to find out if anyone had ever got an SMC2336W-AG to work with linux, which drivers they had used and if they had successfully used it with tools such as aireplay and airodump. I had no luck despite much googling.

If anybody else cares, I have configured this card with fedora, and can successfully crack WEP in very little time now! I also managed to do the same with a prism based card, the WPC11 ver 3. Anybody who wants a hand with it, which drivers I used etc etc, just ask.

Thanks to all the excellent online literature from the rest of you, without whom I wouldn't have had a clue. Great to get my head round a new os!
