Slackware iptable/packet mangling help needed.
Hello. I've got 2 boxes in my room, laying dormant is my serverbox the other is my active Slackware workbox. Recently I've been feeling 'not at home' anymore when it comes to Slackware (due to the direction it seems to be taking), so I've been trying different distros and some BSD's. I've decided that the only real way I'll be happy with my system is if I either do LFS or Gentoo. Me not having the time to do LFS, I figure a live install of Gentoo from the net will cure my fancy. Therein the problem lies. I have a wireless card, a particularly picky wireless card mind you. I use ndiswrapper to get the wireless connection up. So, I figure, "hey" go online, search for an ipv4 packet forwarding tutorial, learn howto use ip masquerading get the other box up with a crossover cable. It'll all be easy. Or so I thought. All the documents out there I've viewed have had distro specificfiles in them. Except for a few which had seemingly no explanation as to what it was doing at all. Will someone help me? I just don't understand any of this!
My computer's gateway is 192.168.2.1
My computer's ifaddress is 192.168.2.3
The other box should be configured with a like address(I do not have dhcp enabled for my router, that way, I can address other boxes with their ip addresses and use their services.)

Do I understand you correctly:
You have a Slack box w/ a wireless card, all working, & you want it to share its 'Net connection w/ an added box through a x-over cable?
If so, you may only need to enable ip forwarding on "slacker" & set up Ip, gateway, routing, etc. on "server".
What references have you already read? (No Q's now, please.)
Do you know where your init scripts are on Slackware?

That's correct.
Scripts are located in /etc/rc.d
IP Packet Forwarding = 1, however it's still not working w/me setting up the box as the gateway for the other box.

What do the 2 routing tables look? (Mind you, you may understand them better than I do.) what does ifconfig look like for each?
