Installing wireless tools

I downloaded the wireless tools from
http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_...nux/Tools.html

but I cannot figure out how to install them.

I read the install file that comes with it, and it mentions that all I have to do is "make install", but in the terminal, make is not a command(my distro is Ubuntu 6.06)

I am pretty sure I installed ndiswrapper correctly along with driver for my linksys card...all I need is the wireless tools.

I am new to Linux, so bear with me.

Install make..

Actually, it'd probably just be easier to get wireless-tools via Ubuntu's package manager, APT. Presumably you can run something like "sudo apt-get install wireless-tools".
