When I try to install wireless tools i get this error

make: gcc: Command not found

Does this mean I have to install a gcc lib ?? I have read thru the install that came with the tar ball but really I am getting very confused with all this.

My current config is as follows

Mandrake 9.2 kernel 2,4,22-10mdk.

I have identfied however how to get the PCI wireless NIC to run using NDISWrapper or driverloader from linuxant.

Basically what Im asking is where am I going wrong in installing wireless tools, any help would be most appreciated thanks.

It looks like you don't have the gcc compiler installed. I'd install all of Mandrake's development tools if I were in your shoes.
