Are there any tools like kismet (I know kismet doesn't work) that work with ndiswrapper? I basically want to use something to detect information about access points.
I have a Linksys WMP54G Wireless Network Card. I am using the ndiswrapper as I cannot seem to get it working with a linux driver. My card is the following:
To my knowledge, (key phrase there) nothing like Kismet, Ethereal, Wellenreiter, etc work with Broadcom. The reason being that the Windows drivers do not support monitor mode. If you want to sniff, better get a different card.
