I need help with wireless and 2wire homeportal

I have tried to configure my laptop to work wireless with my homeportal 1000. when i restart the computer it wont load or the connection will not exist. it is the two wire card and homeportal package from sbc if that helps.i am also running mandrake 10. i dont think i can do it i tried and it just does not want to work. im really new so i need a little help. i learn fast. what ever other info you need i can get.

Did you set up your homeportal first? Does your laptop detect any wireless connections? Did you try accessing http://172.16.0.1/? Read this post for some info.
