Why not go to your local Chamber of Commerce and start a LUG... Advertise for any would-be members to meet at a resturaunt or pool hall somewhere and talk about Linux... You could be the head honcho as they say... Get a web site together and draw in more users...
yeah I suppose, except that I'm sixteen. I'll look into it though. Perhaps someone else would like to do it? I'll try and make some contacts and then look into starting a LUG, Thanks!
16? Does not matter... You don't have to be 21 to start a LUG... you may want to scratch the pool hall idea but otherwise there are plenty of meeting places... Get with your parents, school clubs, etc... I'm sure they will help... who knows you could have your own Linux Distro someday... Think big.. Go for it...!!!
Exactly... You could be the Flagship Spokes person for Linux in Jackson... Start small get some friends together from school clubs etc... This would be a great project for you... and could really get people in your area involved with Linux and Comuters in General...
