XMMS Problem


i am using Fedora and just installed XMMS. i am having 2 problems with it.

1. It is playing really fast like a 5 min track in half a min.
2. there is no sound


Any one have any ideas? Just FYI it is MP3

hi there

go to prefernces section in xmms and check that if u have selected Disk-writer plugins inth o/p plugins
if yes, then change that to other driver

with fedora you need to yum xmms-mp3.

good!!

also that disk writer plugin converts the sogns u play to .wav files in to home folder

You can also give beep media player. It's a fork of xmms but written in gtk2.
