Xinerama & 3D support?

Configuration: Suse 9.1, 2.6.5-7.111.19-smp kernel, XFree86 version: 4.3.99.902

Hardware configuration:

Abit VP6 w/2 Pentium III processors
ATI All in Wonder Radeon 8500DV (AGP)
ATI Radeon 7500 PCI

Currently running a Xinerama ("big desktop" or "extended desktop") configuration with the primary monitor on the AiW 8500DV, second monitor on the Radeon 7500 PCI

Is it possible to get 3D support with a Xinerama desktop with this hardware configuration?

I looked at ATI's latest Catalyst driver release and while they claim to support 3D in their "big desktop" configuration, the driver does not support the Radeon 7500 at all, plus the 3D support in Xinerama is limited to a much lower resolution than what I run (3840x1440, or 1920x1440x2 if you prefer). What options exist if I want to run a Xinerama desktop with 3D acceleration?
