windows migration questions

I need to run IE6 or IE7 and windows telnet. I often have to telnet into DSL modems and cisco devices at work. It would be nice to get rid of my virtual box XP install

Hi, for IE I suggest this through wine
as for windows telnet, you might give wineconsole a try (part of standard wine).
BTW : I once telneted into my router using the linux version and it seemed to work fine, haven't tried any complex operations though.

Why can't you use the telnet in Linux?
