Cool Migration from Redhat to Slackware... Some Questions.

Hello All,

I have ADSL at home and have been Running a Simple Web and mail server for a few years on Redhat 7.2.

Now I decided to try Slackware 9 on my workstation, I love it, I am converted, I have seen the light! Im going to upgrade my web/mail Server to Slackware.

But I have one worry, how do you guys decide when and what to update on your linux boxs which are connected to the net?

When ever there is a security advisory from redhat I just telnet to my box and do "up2date -u" and all my packages are automatically updated.

What site do you use to get the latest Security information and howto fix information?

Thanks Hendrix

Ahh, you mean the dead obvious second menu option on the Slackware homepage highlighted with its own box...... missed that.

Swaret looks cool.

Thanks Azmeen

Take it easy, Hendrix

Swaret is ok, but its not your only option. Tried slackpkg? You can get it here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/slackpkg/ Have fun
