why cant linux read my arabic named folders??


Hello Experts..
It seems that linux cant read my arabic named folders or files..
How can i configure linux to read them?? they simply doesnt show in the {koquriour..} hard drive browser.. but i know they are there becasue they are there ... and i can see them from "windows" OS

Thanks totally linux newbie..

the secret of international filenames lies in parameters passed to the mount command either in /etc/fstab or at the command line when you mount the partition you specify the language.
