webmin 1.250 and FC3.92 can't get to it from outside

I have recently (lastnight) re-installed FC3.92 on my machine and installed webmin. I have apache, php, mysql, sshd, and vsftpd all installed and I can access my machine from work via all of these. I cannot access my machine via the port webmin is running on.

I am very un-informed regarding iptables and I am reading tutorial after tutorial. I thought that running

/sbin/iptables -F

flushes all rules and leaves your system wide open. Am I right? If so I tried that and I still cannot get to my webmin port. Any help would be appreciated!

Ah, resolved.
Turns out my work was simply blocking outbound port 10000. I was able to ssh to my box and change the webmin port - now it works like a charm!
