zip 250 usb

ok. i have a zip 250Mb usb drive and want to install it under linux. i read the iomega readme that's on the installation cd and it makes no sense whatsoever. could anybody help me with some simple english instructions?

go to the iomega website - they have instructions there.

Hi !

I guess you only should connect it to one of your USB ports.

Then you define a mountpoint (ex, under /mnt you create a "subdir" like /zip). That gives you /mnt/zip

Then, as root you define this mountpoint linked to the hatdware device like :
mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/zip

You'll then have access to your zip via the mountpoint /mnt/zip (browse to that via nautilus for example)
