Unable to get yum through ISA proxy server

Hi all,

I'm running CentOS 6.3 in a Windows Domain behind an ISA Proxy Server.
My CentOS is an AD member server, I'm able to login using domain credentials, so the DNS and network setting should be configured correctly.

However, I'm unable to execute wget (returs a time-out) or yum.
I installed ntlmaps 0.9.9 and it says:
Code:
Now listening at testserver.lan.be on port 8080
I also added the following line in /etc/yum.conf:
Code:
proxy=http://testserver.lan.be:8080
If the 'http_proxy' env variable is set, yum can't update.
If the 'http_proxy' variable is NOT set, yum can't update.

I'm getting this error:
Code:
Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://mirrorlist.centos.org/?release=$releasever&arch=i386&repo=os error was
14: PYCURL ERROR 7 - "Failed to connect to 2a02:2498:1:3d:5054:ff:fed3:e91a: Network is unreachable"
Error: Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: base
After uncommenting the 'base repo' line is /etc/yum.d/CentOS-Base.repo:
Code:
Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://mirrorlist.centos.org/?release=$releasever&arch=i386&repo=os error was
14: PYCURL ERROR 7 - "Failed to connect to 2a02:2498:1:3d:5054:ff:fed3:e91a: Network is unreachable"
Clearly the connection times out. It has to be something with the proxy... when i bridge my laptop with the server, (directly to internet), all works fine.

Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Ok, I disabled iptables.
Yum says the following:

Code:
Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://mirrorlist.centos.org/?release=6&arch=i386&repo=os error was
14: PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 407"
ERROR 407 is about proxy authentication issues, right?
But i'm confused, I set up the username and password in ntlmaps...

I made a change to /etc/yum.conf:
Code:
proxy=http://testserver.lan.be:8080
 proxy_username=ldewilde
 proxy_password=aaaaaa
username and password are the same as set up in ntlmaps... Still not working...

PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 407"

See this comment about curl. https://www.centos.org/docs/5/html/y...xy-server.html

Other issues may be https on 8080 maybe. Maybe having to either reboot or restart networking.
