Problem with MS ISA (Proxy) server ?

i have Microsoft ISA 2000 server (installed on w2k3 server). after all the proxy set up and configuration is set up everything is working fine. (i.e all the internal clients are connecting through to the internet. also all the OS and applications are carrying out updates automatically without problem).
this server is installed with two NIC cards (one interfaces the internal network, the other interfaces the external network - internet).
but after a minor change in this ISA server (ie - deleting and re-installing DSL connection for internet), problems comes up. even though the internal PC's can connect and browse the internet (HTTP connection). they no longer can update their OS and applications (the update services can no longer reach the internet). also this ISA server (which is a domain member) can no longer log on to the domain during start up.
how do i fix this TWO problems?
