Transferring drivers between KNPX cd install to hd install......

I just installed a new NIC on my Knoppix-STD box(DEBIAN). I can't get it to detect the network card. But when I boot with the Knoppix-STD disk, it detects it fine.

Is there a way to find out what driver it uses on the NIC so I can maybe transfer it over to my hd install.

I tried copying over /etc/modules.conf and it still didn't work.

Any ideas?

"lsmod" will list all the loaded modules.
"dmesg | grep eth" will find the name of your card.
