still problem with realplayer

I have installed the alsa-oss, the same version with my alsa-lib and so on. But when I try to launch it with the command "aoss realplay", the line tells me that:

ERROR: ld.so: object '/usr/lib/libaoss.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.

So my realplayer still stutters with sound. Many thanks for your attention.

Please do not "bump" your own post unless they have not been replied to in a 24 hour period. This is against the rules that you agreed to when you signed up to LQ. The board automatically bumps any threads that have no reply and by replying unnecessarily to your own posts, you have removed it from threads with 0 replies.

So what Linux distribution are you using and can you give more details about your problem with RealPlayer.

Sorry, I was in such a hurry and I didn't do it deliberately.
I'm using fc4. When realplayer10 works, it stutters. Probably caused by sound driver.

I saw a solution with installing the alsa-oss and I tried it. But the command line told me I can't preload the libaoss.so. So, the problem remains.

For those innocent people I bothered, I have to say I'm sorry.

Try uninstalling realpalyer, then doing
Code:
#yum install compat-libstdc++-33
#rpm -Uvh RealPlayer10GOLD.rpm

The problem dosen't lies in realplayer itself but the alsa driver. When I turn on xmms and playing music, realplayer can play .rmvb well but with no sound. On the other hand, if I play it alone, I can hear the sound but it stutters.

So, I think it is the driver that cause the problem. I installed the alsa-oss. When I launch the realplayer with "aoss realplay", the command that works should be "Warning: LD_PRELOAD="/usr/lib/libaoss.so", but I get the following error message: "ERROR: ld.so: object '/usr/lib/libaoss.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored."

So, the problem remains.

Still I tried your solution, but it doesn't work. Anyway, thanks for your help.
