myguest LQ Newbie Registered: Jun 2004 Location: Zimbabwe Distribution: redhat Posts: 21 Rep:	sm-client failing on Restarting Sendmail I am having problems with Sendmail on Redhat 9 If i check sendmail status, sendmail will be running ok but if i restart sendmail i am getting the following response Shutting down sendmail: [ OK ] Shutting down sm-client: [FAILED] Starting sendmail: [ OK ] Starting sm-client: [ OK ] Even if i restart again after some minutes i will get the same response. All along it has been OK I am failing to send mail because of this problem
