Smile Search for software to change screenbrightness from tray icon


Search for software to change screenbrightness from tray icon. Should be work like a volume tray icon, i want it to change the brightness when i am rolling the mouse wheel on it. Do you which software can do it?

When you don't provide details, it's hard to answer a question. You don't say what version/distro of Linux you're using, or what desktop environment you're in. Since there are different applets for each desktop GUI, the answer depends on what you are using.

In KDE, the battery/power manager applet does this.

You could always add a toolbar icon for the application that does it. It's amdcccle for ati's proprietary drivers. Which oddly doesn't seem to have a trayicon option for it.

Im using arch linux, and appearantly I am on xfce.
