screen capturing tool to make a movie


i'm in need of a tool that will take what i'm doing on my X screen and make a movie out of it. Anyone know of any good one that will work.

you could try out xvidcap

when i try to compile it, i get a problem with compiling.
when i install the source, it's asking for "libavformat.so", which i got no clue what it is. I tried googling and it said i needed "ffmpeg", so I installed that too. However, xvidcap still require libavformat. So what is libavformat?
