Question scanModem tool for chipset need help please


I have this small program called scanModem i am going to put it on a floppy and run it on my Mandrake 9.1 I have only had my Linux one day, and havent installed anything on my new Linux. The program is scanModem.gz Could someone tell me how to do this?
