Running Maltego in Slackware

The output of ./maltego is:
bash-4.2$ ./maltego
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: ignoring option MaxPermSize=128m; support was removed in 8.0

It would be a great help if someone show me the way to solve this problem and run the software.

You are better off asking this on Slackware section. And sorry I don't really know how to help you.
