Repeat parts of audio/video file

Hi,

I am looking for a player that will allow me to mark a part of an audio/video file, and repeat that part over and over again.

Let me explain.

Let's say I have an mp3 file, 30 minute long.

While listening, I suddenly want to repeat "minute 13 through minute 15" over and over again.

Note, I'm not looking to cut the file, but rather, I need a program that will allow me to mark "start" and "end" points on the fly, and repeat it continuously.

Most programs will allow you to repeat the entire file, but I haven't found one that allows a repeat a part.

In case you're wondering, I'm learning a new language, and would love to hear parts of a file on demand without manually rewinding.

TIA.

[RESOLVED] Repeat parts of audio/video file

I'll answer my own question, to help the next guy searching for the same answer.

My favorite media player VLC has that feature. The only thing is, it's hidden from the main interface.

Tools->Advanced Controls will display AB button.

While your file is playing, click AB button to mark the beginning of your repeat cycle. Click again when it gets to the end of what you want to repeat. VLC then automatically starts repeating.

To cancel the loop, click AB button again.
