qBittorrent question: seeds/leechers

Hi, quick question for someone who uses qBittorrent. Next to the list of torrents to be downloaded, in the Seeds/Leechers column, each torrent has a number set like one of these:

0(0)/0(2)

I know what seeds and leechers are, but I'm confused about one thing: What do the numbers in the parentheses represent? Even when there is no actual downloading/uploading going on, there will often still be non-zero numbers in the parentheses, like so:

0(2)/0(4)

Hi,

I believe that the number between parentheses are the number of seeders/leechers offering connection to/with that particular torrent whilst the numbers outside of the parentheses are the number of seeders/leechers you are connected to.

Kind regards,

Eric

Unless it breaks the conventions I've observed in Azureus (Vuze) & KTorrent, you are correct -- the pattern is:
connected (available)

This is not correct

This is not right.

There have been multiple times the number outside were larger than the numbers inside for me.

Right now, I'm torrenting something with Seeds: 3 (2) and Peers: 0 (1)
