Azureus can't connect to seeds or peers

I am running FC 4 - 64 bit with the latest build on Azureus. I had some problems with getting it to work but after some tinkering I got things running. However now I can't connect to peers or seeds. I can see that the swarm has alot of peers or seeds but I can't connect to any of them. I run a dual boot system and the same version of Azureus runs fine on windows. I checked for NAT error, and set my firewall to open a port for Azureus and tried one of those ping websites. Everything works out fine. My error log in Azureus looks like this. The following is a segment, it is largely repetitive as it constantly tries to connect to other people but for some reason can't.

19:54:54.668 stderr VirtualServerChannelSelector$1::runSupport()::-1,AEThread::run()::-1,::GC_start_routine::-1,::__clone::-1

I have managed to fix this problem by applying a solution I found on the Azureus Wiki, since I can't post html's its under the FAQ area. Under the heading of " NAT and DB connections appear fine but well seeded torrents will not start". Basically install the Sun Java, and relink your usr/bin/java to that version install of the FC version of Java.
