Do you have gdk-x11-2.0 installed on your system? If not, that's what you need. If you do have it, you'll need to add the path to your environment.

I can't find this particular piece of software.

Do you have gtk+2-devel and glib2-devel installed? They seem to refer to this

Unfortunately, no. Both gtk+2-devel and glib2-devel are not in any of the repositories.
