Hi,
I am trying to install xMule, but get this error :

I am using FC3.

I am a newbie at Linux and need some good reading material. Also what do you think is the best language to program in for Linux? I am a Java programmer but do have some C knowledge. Please also suggest how I can learn the basic about programming in Linux.

Hi!

When you ran "./configure", before "make", which errors did you get?. If I'm not mistaken, xmule and amule should be available through yum and apt-get. Since you are using Fedora, that's your very best option. If you don't know what yum or apt-get are or how they work, check out this link:

http://users.tkk.fi/~tkarvine/yum-package-manager.html

http://fedoranews.org/tchung/howto/2...um-intro.shtml

and about the best programming language == what you are trying to accomplish...
