problem with gmplayer


hello there i just finally install mplayer on my fc2 dell c800 laptop i have p3 with 512 ram I could play vcd in mplayer by doing this mplayer vcd://1 it works. but when i try to run gmplayer and open my cd folder but i can't run .dat files because i can't see the formar in the list .dat but i could see vcd but can't paly. see i am confuse i could play in mplayer but can't paly in gmplyer

you don't want to navigate to themounted cd. in the gmplayer menu there is a vcd option, just hit that.
