Problem starting x window - font server

Recently I have installed a FC3 box, and everything seemed to be perfect. it probed and configured correctly everything. Then I tried to install CPanel on it (it will be a Web Hosting server), and then it made a yum downloading all newest packages. Then I had to shut down, and when I started it again, it gave me the following error.

Could not init font path element unix/:7100 removing from list!

Fatal server error:
could not open default font: "fixed".

How could I fix that?

Thanks god it's only a testing server!!!

Thanks in advance for the advice!
Joe

Make sure that fonts are configured correct.

you really don't need a font server like redhat has always used unless you are serving up fonts on a network
all you really need is font paths in your x config and to set up the folders correctly
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts"
or whatever the path is

Thanks for the advice...

I put the font directories to load directly in xorg.conf, and then it booted up nicely.

Thanks again!
