I'm on a full default install of Slackware 10 using fluxbox as my WM.

I wanted to add some program to my flux menu, so I edited /usr/X11R6/share/fluxbox/menu and put the stuff in that I wanted to. I restarted everything, but the menu didn't change. So I checked /usr/X11R6/share/fluxbox/init, and it had session.menuFile ~/.fluxbox/menu, which doesn't even exist. So I changed the init to point to the menu that I edited, and restarted everything again, but still no menu change. Anyone know how I can fix this? Also, where is fluxbox getting its menu from, since it doesn't appear to be getting it from /usr/X11R6/share/fluxbox/menu (and there is no home .fluxbox directory either)

why don't you use the menu tool of fluxbox..? and there's too one tool (was it fluxmenu or menuconf or something..) that automatically creates you a menu...that at least found my apps from my gnome menu when I switched to fluxbox..saved me quite a lot of time

I guess my fluxbox gets the menu frrom my $HOME/.fluxbox/menu and if it doesn't exist, then create it by copying the /usr/X11R6/....../menu to $HOME/.fluxbox/menu
