Unhappy adding items to fluxbox menu.....



hi, i just installed Opera and i tried to add it to the fluxbox right-click menu, however, no matter what i do and what files i edit, i cant seem to accomplish this. PLease help!
I've added a line to the /etc/x11/menu which i think is the menu text config but after reboot it jsut doesnt seem to work. SOmeone please help and provede step-by-step details...

I believe the file is:

~/.fluxbox/menu

where ~ = Home directory.

I suggest you look at a program called "MenuMaker", it can automatically generate menu's for you, its very nice.

Ok thanks! just figured out that you can put a "." before the folder to open folders that you can see in the file managers...

With mandy 9.1 I had success with changing the fluxbox menus by using menudrake, although it would not update the menu unless I specifically picked blackbox as the environment (listed on the toobar) I presume that the system sees fluxbox as blackbox due to its parentage.
